Beatrice Sharp’s Little Black Dress.

I spent most of yesterday as a Volunteer Guide at Hill of Tarvit. In the morning I conducted a Guided Tour around the House and in the afternoon the House moves to Open Guiding.

The Guides who are usually all Volunteers seek to educate enlighten and entertain our visitors.

The most popular remark visitors make is "that they could easily live in this house" .

A new edition is Mrs Sharp’s "little black dress" complete with fur stole and fur cape. Very Edwardian.

Judging by the little size of the outfit Mrs Sharp was petite.

The extra photo is a shot of the house over some of the Daffodil display.

Afterwards I met with Pat and we had Fish and Chips in St Andrews. Already the town is in tourist mode.
