Garden black bird in the snow

Well it is not snow really, it is the tree in our garden but it does feel like it is snowing as the white petals fall constantly.

Holly was watching the black bird from the window, she really wanted to go out but the cat flap was closed for the night.  This bird has a bit of white on the side and has been coming to the garden for a few weeks now, so far it seems to have avoided the cats!
