Greener spaces

My Blip today is about a wonderful use of open space here in town. The Middlesex Greenway is a quiet 10-foot wide asphalt surface with 12 different entry points that runs from Metuchen to Woodbridge to form a multi-use 3.5 mile trail. It was converted from an abandoned railroad.
It's now a great place to walk, bike ride, hike or jog. My 4 year old grandson had taken his bike on the entire route! It nice to have a place that is away from all the traffic and noise. I'd like to say I've walked this entire trail but I have yet to do that. My mind thinks I can but my back disagrees ?
This trail is actually part of the East Coast Greenway, a developing trail system that stretches from Maine all the way to Florida!
