The early 1950s

In the early 50s, one of my gents, Don,  worked in Africa. His job was to settle Nomads.

Their camp had a leopard "problem" and this skin is a result of a "necessary" shooting.

Don is fascinating.  He used to speak about his dementia at seminars & carers' meetings.

Now he is a club member. He has many stories and tells them very, very slowly and it requires much patience to listen. His life in Africa is well documented and he brings something of interest in every week.

Today it was this leopard skin. Horrific yet beautiful.

(Flo and her cousins have made contact. We've been sent stunning photos of the Taj Mahal.)
