Chaffinch

We don't get a lot of these in the garden, but a pair have been regular visitors recently.
I went to visit a friend who has bought a new house and is in the process of doing it up. I got to see it in its gutted state so it will be interesting to see it take shape. After a tour, we went out for a nice lunch and a catch-up.
