Sn3 Symposium

Just back from Seattle and the 2019 Sn3 Symposium.  About 150 narrow gauge enthusiasts gathered in Bellevue WA for the Symposium.  Many great clinics and layout visits. Even got to operate two layouts there.  The photo is from Dale Kneutzer's Sn3 layout that covers Durango to Dolores.  Dale uses photo backdrops and you have a very hard time seeing the transition between the backdrop and the scenery.   In the blip, the backdrop is just behind the fence line!   I operated this layout a few years ago and it is perhaps the best layout anywhere in any scale.  The Seattle area has a wealth of great layouts - many in Sn3.    If you are ever in Seattle and at a train convention where this layout is open, do not miss it.
