Life in Newburgh on Ythan

A parliament of rooks

Earlier this morning the local Parliament of rooks was in full session. Apparently they were trying to decide whether or not to leave the family Corvidae. There was much shrieking and squawking and furious flapping of wings, but all to no avail, no agreement was anywhere in sight.  Meanwhile the eggs were rapidly chilling in their nests and the magpies were circling in the hope of grabbing a few.

Does it remind you of anything?
