Canvassing public opinion on the trams

"Not impressed - waste of money, far too much hassle and totally unnecessary. The money could have been better spent elsewhere".

Spotted this guy interviewing this lady outside Jenners, presumably (due to the fact that the tram has arrived on Princes Street, and the fact that the position of his camera was strategically placed to include the tram in the background) trying to get a few opinions on the trams.
The lunchtime stomping ground has totally changed, as boab and myself noticed when we inadvertently wandered into the west gardens, and found that we couldn't get out again until the steps at the very west side of the gardens. Also, they've cut the width of the pavement on the North side of Princes Street to about 2/3rds of its size, making walking along at a relatively brisk (but utterly acceptable) pace that little bit more treacherous (which will miff wingpig).

Also, is it just me, or does anyone else think that Princes Street now resembles something out of Project Gotham Racing (I'm sure it was PGR 2 that had Edinburgh as a playable circuit)? I'm half tempted to bring the car down at 2am and see what lap time I can get :)

Felt absolutely shocking all day at work - nose won't stop running, can't stop sneezing and just couldn't concentrate on anything for any length of time to be remotely productive. I've armed myself with lemsips though, so hopefully all shall be right by tomorrow morning.
