Look, Kitty!

On the way down from the Palm Sunday service in the church in the castle, on the way to the Adega, where the men had a good sing.

Now off to the procession of Senhor Jesus dos Passos, a tradition that Mourão has been keeping for hundreds of years, where men in black cloaks carry Jesus with his cross, Mary, and the apostle John round a series of niches in the walls of the houses, decorated only for this day of the year, through carpets of rosemary and lavender.

And then to the expatriates' gathering at Sem Fim for dinner...

Gratefuls:
- (unburnt) mountain of croissants for breakfast
- the grandkids coping so well with another culture and language
- the privilege of having our family with us for these days
