Wild About Garlic!

Dyrham Park, Gloucestershire

To a windy and fragrant Dyrham Park this afternoon with my friend S, to gather Wild Garlic, catch-up on each other’s news, and enjoy an ice cream in the sunshine. Out of the chilly wind, it felt quite warm; hard to believe that in four days time the temperature is set to soar to 22 degrees!

On our way home we stopped off at S’s friend’s farm to collect armfuls of Corkscrew Hazel branches, ready for Easter. So tomorrow’s jobs are to build an Easter Tree, and to bake Cheese and Wild Garlic Scones!
