Churches and Icons

I was stunned to see Notre Dame burning along with the entire world.  Such a tragedy.  I love the beautiful places of worship of all faiths.  And Notre Dame is indeed a most beautiful place.  This icon in my blip was given to me for my 50th birthday by a friend of mine.  The angel on the right was given to me by my dear friend Eddy (recently on my blip with the turban and long white beard that passed) when I was in the hospital in 2012.  I pray they can restore this cathedral to be okay.

I tried so hard to keep myself out of this photo but it wasn't possible.  But it does kind of look like my hands are praying.
