Common lizard

With it being school holidays we wanted to find somewhere quiet for a nice walk.
Coombes Valley didn't disappoint... Very surprised that such a lovely place was so quiet. Apart from the couple of rspb volunteers, were only came across two other lots of people.
Saw lots of the smaller birds and heard many more but just as I was mentioning that I kept hearing noises that sounded like small things scurrying away, this little guy caught my eye. Making the most of the warm sun and warming his blood!
