RSNO + Søndergård sounds like the perfect match

Back-blipping

This season I have seen a couple of concerts of Royal Scottish National Orchestra and must say that important part of this orchestra is Danish conductor (and music chief) Thomas Søndergård.

It really looks he is a perfect match for them. Picture showed him, orchestra and guest American-Russian pianist Olga Kern in Usher Hall. Soon after they were travelling to US for couple of concert. And I believe tthey were succesful overseas.

Anyway it' s a classic example when you take a picture at the right moment. It' s not happening every time to me because I have a limit approx. one minute to do that during the applause.

FIY:

Programme:

Paul Chihara: A Matter of Honor (RSNO Commission) World premiere

Rachmaninov: Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini

Interval

Prokofiev: Symphony No5

Of course Russian composers as its best.
