Going native

Today’s food tasting tour started in a two storied dim sum restaurant accessed through a pokey shop front and then a wonky little lift. Somewhere we’d never have found and if we had, we wouldn’t have been able to read the menu...
Then it was onto a noodle bar, where the waitress snipped the noodles with scissors to make life easier for us (the locals were scooping and slurping) then another (different type of) noodle bar and the last stop was for pineapple (not at all pineapple flavoured) buns and sweet milk tea.
A great way to learn about a country.
