Anticipation

Forsythia bloom before they get leaves.

They were brought to Scotland from China, by horticulturist William Forsyth, and promptly named after him.

Forsythia translates to “Man of Peace,” yet in the Victorian language, it symbolizes anticipation.

For me, it’s a sign of Spring Fever, which I appear to have.
