Creating bobbles

I used to do a lot of knitting. I particularly liked knitting Aran patterns and guernsey jumpers. A couple of years ago I decided after a break of over twenty years to have another go at it and bought some wool and a pattern, but found that I couldn’t knit and watch the tv any more without taking my glasses on and off all the time. I rediscovered my knitting again a couple of months ago and have now nearly finished a jumper which is fairly plain with the exception of the patterned yoke in my picture. I am already thinking of what I shall make next when this is finished

Today is thechimp’s birthday so I made him a coffee cake decorated with pecans - very tasty!
