Went for a walk at the arboretum today. The camellias are almost done, magnolias have started, azaleas have not begun yet. I saw one trillium plant and this was my favorite photo.

I was admiring a small field of wildflowers, not realizing that the grounds keeper in his mower was waiting for me to move off so he could come in and mow it all down! Kind of sad but they do have a job to do.


After lunch, I had to go to the dentist to have an old crown removed. I really just can't stand dental work anymore and today did it - no more without valium!
