Oh Christmas Tree - Part II

Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree,
How loveleeeeeee your branches.

It was Miss A and Little D's nursery Christmas parties today and Miss A's Christmas Concert. Not before a trip to the dentist to get high praise for beautifully clean teeth and an early treat lunch at M&S though. On the way out, Miss A spotted some fairy dust and cried for an hour when she didn't get it. We agreed that I'd go back for it and give it to her prior to the concert, she said she would sprinkle it on herself and her group before taking to the stage to sing 'Oh Christmas Tree'.

Grandma and Grandad came through for the occasion and we packed into the local church; parents jostling for the best position in anticipation of seeing their little one up on stage. The kids filed into the church hall, some dressed in nativity outfits, but mostly in white t-shirts with a variety of different hats. Miss A had decorated her crown with a sparkly tree and coloured baubles. The kids were all in good spirits and there were no tears (that I saw), only smiles and waves for their families. Each group took turns to sing their song then finished off with 'We Wish You A Merry Christmas'. It was a fun and heart warming occasion and we are immensely proud of Miss A and all her classmates for pulling off such a beautiful performance.

Bravo, little children. Bravo.
