Local Hero

We went to see the stage production of the wonderful film 'Local Hero' this afternoon.  It is a favourite film and we were nervous about its interopretation as a musical.  However, it was a real treat.  Some things have been removed from the film version and some things added but the magic remained.  A triumph I think and it is headed for London....
A star of the film was a phone box and it too stars in the stage version.  Battery life prevented me from taking a photo.   So I took one of our village phone box which no longer works.  However, it does provide shelter for youngsters waiting for the school bus.
