Animal Kingdom

The morning started at IHOP (International House Of Pancakes, don't ask me about the actuality of the international status, I guess they have a branch in Canada)

A day at another Disney park, this time Animal Kingdom. There are four main areas to this park, Pandora, which is based on the Avatar films, then there is Africa, which is a mish-mash of bits of Africa, and has a heavy emphasis on the Lion King. Asia is an odd one, with a link to the film Up! and a rollercoaster ride based on Everest and the Yeti. The final one is Dinosaur-USA.

In the evening there was a water a light show on the central lake area called 'Rivers of Light' featuring a number of lit floats moving around the lake to music and speech. Very well done show, again, very Disney, but a very good spectacular.
