Lochfynehead Beach Clean

You might not think this is the most thrilling photograph I've ever published but it's an important one.

Two days ago this shoreline next to the Oyster Bar was covered in marine litter - not just the big stuff but small pieces of our waste that always seems to find their way to the head of every sea loch.

Thanks to a huge effort by John our H&S Manager, staff and volunteers at Loch Fyne and SSC, the Duke & Duchess of Argyll and many other local helpers the beach is now looking pretty good. 

Marine litter epitomises mankind's total disregard for this beautiful planet.
It is a war rather than a battle - the fight continues!
