Harold's

Uncle Harold is in hospital, he's 94 and has pneumonia, we are all fearing the worst. 
He is a stalwart of the TT races in Isle of Man, he opens his field for parking and hundreds come to watch the races and discuss them with Harold, riders, journalists punters all together. 
He is the grandfather my kids never had, both our dad's died young. He is perfect for the role, making swords and shields, giving tractor rides and walks with the dog. 
I'm hoping he recovers, its TT in two weeks, he'd hate to miss that. 

Have to confess, I didn't take this photo, the TT people are naming the 7 mile mark after Harold this year, and this is their photo of the new sign. See also another blippers photo of uncle, being uncle.
