Suddenly it's summer

Great scenes at the beach (Sumner) today, surf patrol all out training, people swimming, surfing, body boarding, people enjoying the cafe on the beach which has reopened, lots of sunshine and warmth - this year we might get a real summer!

And children and parent playing beach cricket - a ball, and some driftwood all that's required for a great deal of fun.

The little one fancied his bowling and was showing it off.
