It Looks Like A Little Lake...

....Sorry, but it's the local Landfill's retention pond - or one of them...

We had to take another trip to the Dump this morning with a load of lawn grass clippings - we were directed into the wrong area, to unload - (different crew at the gate) and so we followed their directions (or else) and ended up on a huge hill overlooking this little retention pond with lots of ibis and pelicans having a lovely time there..
(We cannot see the local Hospital over the road, but it's there....! (All 120 beds, for 92,000 people in the district!! - we try not to get ill.)

But returning now to the 'Hill of total Rubbish' at the Landfill, this lone photo I took. It's not a very handsome looking blip I must admit - but at least we didn't have a North wind blowing and the pond looked quite attractive in the far distance, with the wildlife on the water. .. ? ... There was almost every conceivable bird in the district right in the area, seagulls and all, circling around - (a blipper's dream really, if one ignored the fragrance in the air) ... but I couldn't zoom in enough to capture them in detail.
Oh well, maybe it'd make a good painting and all...
