Beechgrove Jim !

Quick visit to Stirling this morning to collect shoes I’d ordered on line as the shop didn’t keep my size ( small! ) in store!
Met a dear friend & her granddaughter & daughter in law for lunch
Back home to finish painting the deck in the warm afternoon sunshine !
After dinner I switched on tv to watch the Beechgrove Garden first of the new series ..... to hear that Jim McColl one of the original presenters sincere programme started on 1978 is retiring! He’s a real character & he will be missed I’m sure! He’s so knowledgeable about gardening !
