Roaming around

Rome has got to be one of the best city break destinations in the world. Everyone who heard that I was going got so excited I thought they were going to need a change of underwear. Now I know where they were coming from.

Excellent long weekend of wandering through piazzas, slurping gelato and being surprised at every turn by the next ancient ruin tucked away down the most innocent looking backstreet.

Even the 10 hour Ryanair delay on the way back didn't dampen our enthusiasm for the place.
