I'm betting that this sweet pair of little Downy Woodpeckers is very thankful for the daily supply of BarkButter that their two-legged friend puts out for them each morning. They must be feeding young because they fly off with beaks full of the high protein stuff. I'm gradually 'weaning' them off the BarkButter so that they will teach their young to hunt for more natural food sources. I can't wait to see the 'kids'!
