The plaque is decorated with the Guelphic white horse on a red ground which nowadays serves as the modern state of Niedersachsen’s (Lower Saxony) state coat of arms. In the background on the very left my old school (now Campe-Gymnasium) is depicted, the right half shows a side entrance, still in its 1896 shape.
