Up bright and early to walk Matt to work, thankfully his back is a bit better today.

I bought a few things from town then walked home via Asda. Bought quite a lot and then struggled up the hill in the park with my heavy bags, cursing the fact that it’s actually hot outside.

Did some washing and cooked a huge load of butternut squash chilli to have for dinner tonight. My cooking was made more interesting by the occasional appearance of Brian, who had been drinking since last night. Definitely making the most of the bank holiday.

In the afternoon I lounged with Matt in the park for a while then we ate the chilli and watched all of series 2 of Fleabag.
