Blackbury Camp

Another very hot sunny day, the hottest of the year apparently, it was 24C where we were.  After yesterdays versions we decided to have a more relaxing day and headed to Blackbury Camp - an Iron Age fort that is well known for its bluebells.  It was a lovely sight and we enjoyed a picnic surrounded by bluebells.  Then a quick look around Axmouth before heading back home for a Gin and Tonic.   We even ate our dinner in the garden the weather is so warm.

I am feeling fairly virtuous as this morning I made use of some free bark chippings on the allotment and made the path up using leftover garden membrane covered in the chippings, it was a good workout using the wheel barrow to pick up the many loads of chipping.  All done now though.
