Easter Day! Sunrise in the garden.

Easter Day, my favourite one of the year.   
Took a stroll up the garden at 6.30 am. 
It was irresistable. 
The day when the proclamation 
"Christ has died!
Christ is risen!
Christ will come again!
Alleuia!"
echoes around the churches throughout the world. 

I came across this beautiful poem the other day by
E E Cummings, which speaks of renewal
 
  " I thank God for this most amazing day: for the leaping greenly spirits of trees and a blue dream of sky;
and for everything which is natural which is infinite which is yes

and this is the sun's birthday; this is the birth
day of  life and love and wings: and of the gay
