Hot cross buns

I realised that shop-bought hot cross buns aren’t vegan because they’re made with an enriched dough (get me and my fancy baking terms, courtesy of Bake Off) involving milk and/or eggs.

In one of my many new vegan recipe books, there’s a recipe for vegan brioche buns, another bun made from enriched dough. I put that together with a Paul Hollywood hot cross bun recipe and added my own twist. The result was delicious.
