Violet & Dew

Even though these pretty little flowers are considered weeds, I love them and I'm always happy to see them popping their purple and white heads up in the lawn at this time of the year.  We have two kinds -- this white variety, and the more common deep purple type.  This year seems to be a bumper crop!

Extra is a shot of last evening's sunset as viewed through the wonderful old rippled glass in our study.  I'm really going to miss this house when it is sold.
