We wined them and dined them

On the 15th, we piled into the car and headed off to the wilds of Scotland.

We drove up the M77 and headed for the Erskine Bridge.   Over the Erskine Bridge, and our first stop was Loch Lomond  - after Tarbert.  We found a lovely spot steps up to a vantage point, with a rather interesting "sculpture on top".

After there - Tyndrum for eats.

Then we headed for Glen Coe - and visited the Visitor Centre and J was delighted to hear about the formation of the Glen - Ice Age and Glaciated Valleys.  Amazing.

So much information between that and the massacre of the MacDonalds, and the hills and the glens and everything.  Was amazing.  The Glen never fails to amaze me - in any weather.

We stopped at beautiful waterfalls ( I stayed in the car) but the kids walked all the way down.

Then we reached Fort William and settled into our hotel before heading out for Grog and Gruel for some much needed eats.

One day in and am already exhausted.
