Bluebell Woods

The bluebells this year are the best I have ever seen. I think it’s because of the wonderful hot dry weather we have had which has allowed every flower spike to open fully all at once with no damage from wind or rain.
Whatever the reason, the woodlands in the Winster Valley have carpets of blue, enhanced by a host of little Orange Tip butterflies.
Quite remarkable.
