Rides called off due to heavy rain

The people who own this little fairground ride in the city centre are doing their level best to brighten up the shopping experience, especially for kiddies.
But there were no takers today. Thanks to the worst kind of rain - heavy, incessant, the kind that drenches you, wet rain if you like. It was really miserable and the forecast is for more of the same.
Bah humbug to the weather.
