Irlam Station

Irlam Station is a fully functional station on the Northern Line from Manchester to Liverpool - however it is different!  
The long closed station buildings were totally renovated and in 2015 the 1923 Cafe Bar & Bistro opened.
Not only does the station  look really swish on the outside, it is very nice indeed on the inside.  I particularly liked the 'railway carriage' booths (see extra).  Perfect for a nice cosy drink.
