Golden Grass

Such a beautiful time to be outside with sunlight from a sun low in the sky bathing the tall marsh grass in golden light. I love that this patch of grass is set against a darker grove of trees with red dogwoods in the background and a dark sky.

The grass stands about 8' tall I would guess, taller than I've seen anywhere before. I thought having the left hand tree leaning in at a diagonal added a contrasting element to the image and is against the general direction of the grasses which seem to be towards the left.

I don't know how much longer I'll be able to walk there once the new growth gets underway if it reaches anywhere near as high.
