This is part of one of the two big Viburnum bushes in my garden. The buds are well on the way now. If the flowers open before winter sets in they will provide nectar for myriad insects. On sunny days the dense foliage is full of life. These are ideal conditions for a praying mantis, and this is where the two mentioned in yesterday’s blip have stationed themselves. Can you spot them?
