The Snowy Plover chick

We waited 30 days watching the little snowy plover sitting on eggs..  We were so lucky to catch the hatching and she came out running up the beach ..They are so fast and hard to see in the sand.   When it is busy on the beach we fear them getting stepped on by the large humans.
