A mothers love

The American Black skimmers lay eggs on the beaches ..The hottest part of the summer and raise their young in 45 days.    It is such a great experience to photograph their behaviors if you can stand the heat on the beach.     This pic was taken on the 3rd day with the little one sticking his head up and mom turning to show it some love.
