Morton Hall Gardens

We went to these gardens near Inkberrow this afternoon and got caught in a torrential downpour , having not seen any rain for weeks.
The house and gardens are privately owned, in a spectacular spot with stunning views, not open all that often, and are absolutely beautiful. The owners seem to run the place as a private hobby. They are not trying to sell you loads of gifts , they don't have a restaurant and a cream tea was included in the price .
The head Gardener showed us round and was very knowledgeable. There's something to see at all times of the year and at the moment the tulips are lovely. I like a good tulip!
The house dates back to the seventeen hundreds and is a conglomeration of architectural styles, all the more interesting for that.
The gardens are immaculate and meticulously planned. I think that's where I'm going wrong......
The horses in the spotless stables seemed to find it all very amusing.(Extra)
