And The Sahara Came Too . . .

Back in Barcelona from Cairo and the desert came with us, in one of the sand-laden overnight downpours that we often get at this time of year. Everything gets covered in red sand and it's a devil of a job to clean all the outdoor surfaces, chairs, tables and plant leaves! I took the top terrace under my wing today and did my best to knock it into shape for guests arriving tomorrow, including redoing the shade covering that had blown apart during a recent storm that we had also missed! Of course, we may get another downpour tonight!
