Glow

This day started grey and cold (-3 C with windchill) but slowly warmed up throughout the day ending with a beautiful evening for a long walk and the sky glowed as the sun went down. On my lunch, I visited the pond and happened to coincide with a woman walking her dog, who let me know that she would let me go first as her dog has been flushing the heron and kingfisher daily.  Good grief.....sure enough, the kingfisher and heron were there.
