Himalayan Garden

We visited this stunning place today. It is the garden of a large house which the owners decided in the 1990’s to develop into a Himalayan Garden. There are hundreds of species of azalea, rhododendron and magnolia as well as lots of tree species and an enormous number of flowering plants. Simply beautiful and still being developed. Also 3 ornamental lakes with both palmate and crested newts ( we saw both). Well worth a visit if you are in the area ( near Masham).
