Day 3 - Grand Turk

After a smooth crossing from Jamaica we woke this morning in Grand Turk.
It’s a fairly small island - 7 miles long and 1.5 miles across at its widest point - home to just under 6000 people. The island was known for salt production.
Strange mix - British dependency, US currency, US cars which drive on the left and the banks are Canadian!
Only meant to take a taxi into the main town but the driver offered a tour for a little extra so we took him up on it and saw the Lighthouse in the north of the island, the homes of richer residents and the salt pans with their pink flamingos

Early departure - another sea day tomorrow.
