Paia Point, Kaikoura Coast

There’s no doubt about it the Kaikoura Coast is a stunning part of New Zealand even after the disastrous earthquake of 7.8 Mw on the 14th of November 2016. It has been an enormous project to reinstate the coastal road of State Highway One and the railway line. Work is on-going and some traffic delays are still happening. Duncan and I (and his new kitten) drove from Christchurch home to Blenheim today in beautiful sunny weather.
