Easter Sunday

Off home today but first of all here are the traditional colored Easter eggs at breakfast in our hotel. Jordanians are a welcoming, hospitable people, proud of their respect for one another’s religions with more in common than divides. This small nation has taken in millions of people from Iraq, Syria, Palestine, fleeing conflict or persecution in their home countries. In a total population of barely 10 million, and a relatively poor country this has been a massive strain on facilities and the economy, yet people remain very largely positive and tolerant.
