fresh eyes

Now that I am retired, I usually leave and return to Dollar using the main road which is the A91.  But today, I met a friend for lunch and came back home on the B913, known locally as "the back road"  which snakes down into Dollar through wooded hillsides.  This was my daily commute to and from work but I must have got so used to it I stopped noticing it.  Seeing it again today with fresh eyes I just marvel at how lovely it is.  Even in overcast weather with a light drizzle of rain the fresh spring leaves were just glowing.   The extra is the view from the roadside.
