Builth Wells

We had a foul journey to our lovely camp site just above Builth Wells yesterday all in pouring rain. The views are as spectacular as ever, when you can see them. Today it's still raining but we had a quick mooch around Builth between the showers. We went to Erwood in the afternoon and spent time in the lovely Gallery. The Gallery itself is made up of three old railway carriages full of wonderful pieces of craft by many talented artists. We had tea and slices of Barrabrith in one of the compartments at the end of one of the carriages set aside for teas etc. We had hoped to have a walk along the River later but the rain descended again so we beetled off back to 'Matilda' and G&Ts with A&M. M&G and little Grace, the Boston Terrier, arrive tomorrow when there will be more celebrations!!

There's no wifi on site and a very poor phone signal  so I'll have to catch up with you all next week, unless I can scrounge wifi from somewhere, like now in the Strand Cafe where we're having a bit lunch and a bit of their wifi. Must go now though, Mr T's finished reading the paper!!
